RBRA Events
The RBRA regularly attend local village fairs and ‘eco’ events. We also run a series of volunteer tasks such as Himalayan Balsam pulling sessions during the summer months.

Hertford Castle Eco Fest
Sunday 10 May 2026 — 12 noon until 4pm
The RBRA will be at the free-to-attend EcoFest and Family Fun Day in the grounds of Hertford Castle. Come and say ‘hello’, get a close-up look at some of the invertebrate life that lives in the river, and see demonstrations of Riverfly sampling in action. Watton Church Fete
Bank Holiday Monday, 25 May 2026, from 1pm
As in past years we’ll bring the RBRA roadshow to the annual Watton fete. Come and see us and hear all about the river and what lives in it.
